Friends here have received word of the death of Mrs. Cecil PAYTON of Anderson. She was visiting in the home of her nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Moore in Nitro, VA when she suffered a fatal heart attack. Mrs. Payton, the former Ethel Scott, is a former resident of Waveland and has visited here on numerous occasions. Funeral services were held in Anderson Tuesday afternoon. - kbz
